Kale Chips are great when you are craving the salt but don't want the carbs. I often will double this recipe because they shrink down to nothing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch kale leaves

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or melted coconut oil

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 3/4 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Remove leaves from the stems of the kale and roughly tear it up into large pieces. Wash and dry thoroughly.

  3. In a large bowl, massage in the oil until well coated in oil. Now sprinkle on remaining ingredients and toss to combine.

  4. Spread out onto the prepared baking sheet into a single layer.

  5. Bake for minutes, until the kale has become crisp.

  6. Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy. It never lasts long, so no need to refrigerate.

Thanks for checking out this recipe. I'd love to hear what you think. :)
