Timothy L. Smith, CFP(R), has spent nearly 35 years in the financial services industry. He is the CEO and founder of the Aurora companies, a broker-dealer\RIA platform with over 200 advisors nationwide.  

 

Despite his success at building companies, his first love was always helping people. During his seven years as a sales manager with a prior firm, and his 20+ years working with advisors in his own companies, Tim loved providing the career strategy and guidance to help advisors grow. 

 

In 2018, at the suggestion of his wife, Tim decided to get back to his roots and formalize his advisor strategy work.
